Just looking for some places to check into buying from. I've been looking at lone mountain, Allstate, and random places in the truck paper, but just wondering if there's any places that you guys would go to religiously. First time buyer trying to figure it all out. Thank you.
Good places to buy used trucks

Save yourself a lot of trouble and pull up a RigDig report on the truck you wish to purchase BEFORE you buy it. RigDig is like CarFax for trucks. The money for the report is worth it considering the amount of money being invested in a truck.

I just bought a scooter last night on www.copart.com,
thing was 250 bucks!!!
917 miles.
saw a few trucks sell yesterday,
BUT
you need to be a dealer, salvage yard owner,
or like my butt,
pay a ton of money up front,
and have a ton of money,
you can turn into cash in two days.
(I was bidding against a guy from Mexico,
this was here in Ohio- on the web of course.)Last edited: Apr 8, 2014

Www.roadritemn.com it's in St. Cloud. Buy there pay there. Just paid off my second truck from them. Very simple to do and there decent starter trucks. There always getting new trucks in. That 04 Columbia 70in with the Detroit would be nice.

A friend of mine did research on used trucks and he bought a 07 Pete 379 from Werner. Apparently they keep their trucks well maintained but always caveat emptor. Buying a used truck is a crapshoot. I certainly made my fair share of mistakes when I bought mine. You live and learn

Someday if I am going to buy a used truck I will probably go here. It is in Salt Lake City, Utah. A Freightliner dealer that sells the others as well (Petes, Kenworths and so on).
They have alot of Ebay listings, and the trucks seem ready to go to work.
