Get a TriPac, it's absolutely the best out there. I can't speak for the electric TriPacs but the diesel ones are great. Very reliable, and quiet too. So you won't have somebody out bashing your APU with a sledge hammer in the middle of the night because it's too loud like Rigmasters and Power Cubes.

How much do the electric APU's run. Was wandering if the small honda 100 gen would keep the batteries charged? I run a Honde eu3000 now with an lg AC. Works well but takes up a lot of space in the sleeper. 63" flat top. And I refuse to mount an rv AC on top of my flat top.

I have a question about my 2003 volvo vnl, my cluster showing low voltage 11.8 - 12.2, while my brand new alternator and batteries showing 14.2, in the mean time I have a little digital reader that reads my voltage out of a ciggarette lighter, its giving me 14.2 on idle and 12.9 with key on, can anyone please help me with this issue, why is my dash giving me 11.8 - 12.2 on idle when my actual voltage is 14.2

    Thanks.

you will probably get more answers if you go down to the Garage and ask this in trucks section.

Four deep cycle 12 volt batteries, gel filled.
