I just bought a brand new t680 last month, and the front left brake started squealing really bad. I took it to the dealer in St. Paul MN where I bought it and the told me tjere is nothing wrong with the brakes and that I'm not braking hard enough. Now today it started squraling while changing lanes and turning left, and now periodically while driving. Called Wisconsin kenworth and they told mr to drive in reverse while applying brakes and "brandish" the shoes and drum. Needless to say it didnt work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have owned 3 trucks before this and never had this kind of issue.

Sounds like the bearings could be loose if it's changing when you turn. Hope it gets taken care of on KW's dime.

Try posting in the Kenworth section on here, see if anyone else has had the same issue or can recommend a dealer that actually wants to fix a problem.

Might be a bad spindle. Happened to me. Bearings get in a bind & make that sound.

Jack it up and check for end play then OP. Hell, pay a truckstop to do it jsut to make sure all is well if need be.

Bearings were fine, had them checked out. Im frustrated because it seems like Kenworth isn't standing behind their warranty. And I need to keep moving to make payments, so idk what the hell to do!

There are a couple problems that is could be and unless we can see it, it is impossible to know what it is.
Telling you to drive it in reverse to seat brakes is plain stupid and I would have told who ever told me that they need to get another job.
However if it isn't fixed, you get into an accident, guess who will get sued?
The dealer.
So I would take this as a priority, not to drive it at all.
