Hello,
Can anyone recommend a trucking accounting software for owner operators leasing a truck from a company? My husband and I recently became owner operators, and I want to keep the books correct! Looking for an accurate and easy program or software. Free would be good, but doesn't matter. Can anyone help us out?

Thanks everyone! I must correct myself..we are "lease owner operators" New lingo for me lol
I am specifically looking for software for Canada, the ones you've suggested are great though! Has anyone used any of these and have any experience using these programs?? I have found all of them myself, I was really looking for anyone to suggest the best ones to use!
Thanks again for all your help! -
Thanks!!! Look at ITS dispatch it's the only one I know that does US/canada, quick books is a joke it's really not set up for the trucking industry
KatL Thanks this. -
There is a (f)lease operator section just under this one in the listings.
Maybe those guys know what works best for them.
I use The Truckers Helper, and it has been great for @10yrs I have been using it.
As far as someone asking about IFTA, if you are leased to a carrier, running under their DOT/IFTA numbers, you cant file your own if you wanted to.
