This was posted in the 18wheeler section, but it only has a couple hundred views and deserves much much more:

I purchased a rear axle from LKQ in Maryland. when I received it, the housing was so badly rusted that I had to purchase a replacement housing locally. The pictures they posted only showed the good side, leading me to believe this was a great deal on an axle..

Hi double yellow, thanks for posting this, and it should show anyone thinking of buying a truck, what is out there. Shady repair shops are nothing new, but thanks to cameras now, these places can be exposed, where in the past, not much could be done.
To anyone needing service on a truck, do a little research before letting these crooks dive into your truck. Once they pull it apart, you are pretty much at their mercy, and they know it. I have a good friend that operates a towing/repair outfit in Lake Mills, Wis., 259 exit on I-94, Topel's Towing, and does quality repairs with small town integrity. So they aren't all bad.
