    Yeah.. starting to look that way.


    Talk to a recruiter at roadway and was initially told that they gross 1200 a week. I'm guessing that's gross after all expenses. Doesn't seem like much and I think I gave off that vibe because he then came back with 4500/week. He was driving so I didn't ask all the question I wanted to but I did get him to agree to email me their pay sheet scale. Honestly, I really doubt he'll send it over but I'm really hoping he does.

    Looked into pacer as well and their as web-site quotes 100k/year for local drivers.....sigh.

    #### I can see why people stay company drivers. At this point it isnt about the money but i'll like to at least be able to make rent and truck payments.

    Try Schneider, they have local intermodal for O/O and company drivers...

    They require two years experience. I think LTL is where Im going to end up though.

    I would have to respectfully disagree with you. After a year running Intermodal here in Louisville it is some of the easiest money I have made. It all comes down to the terminal and location. Running the ports or the big railyards might be different. The money isn't too bad I clear 1200-1800 a week after all my expenses.
