The vultures in dispatch will pick your corpse clean. I've seen RESCUE fees attributed to the deceased that would make me want to rise from the dead. In one instance, "our" trucker dies in his sleep, by the time dispatch finished with their Rescue cost distributions and mark-ups, I was tempted to call the police and charge those dispatchers with desecration of a corpse. Stay ALIVE, my friends.
As an Owner/Op, don't you dare DIE in your truck, your estate may just die with you.

Well better get it in your contract a fixed fee so they can rescue their load and you may want to have a buddy on stand by to rescue the tractor , never really thought about it , Ihave done a few rcoverys but wwasn't cause any body died ,

I am the dispatcher and also the driver. If I die in there I am aware my company will have to pay someone, somehow, to deal with getting my body to wherever, taking care of the load, etc. Whatever, I am dead. Who cares. Hopefully they can charge it all to my line of credit before the bank finds out I am dead.
8thnote Thanks this. -
Just make sure the ac is set high.
Davidlee, FatDaddy and RedForeman Thank this. -
Why does reading the OP make SRT come to mind?
