I have a Dyna Sys APU
Repair it , it will run a day , then break again .
It only has 1000 hours on it , and it's continually breaking down.
It doesn't seem to be a good system .
I reckon thermo king is probably the best -
I have a new Dynasis I had installed in march, I have just over 1000 hours on it and to date, I have had no real problems with it. I have serviced it at its intervals and so far, everything is going well. Some of the quirks I have discovered is that when the AC suddenly quits blowing cold, I have to unplug the wall thermostat and plug it back in and then it runs again. Sometimes I have to pull the main fuse on the board and plug it back in to get everything back to normal. Other than that, no problems.

For the cost of the APU's they should run perfectly IMHO. Especially the TK ones, which must have some gold parts hidden inside them.
Have a look in the "Garage" section, there are normally a few threads in there about all the makes of APU.
MartinVisionLogistics Thanks this. -
I have had my dunasys for 3 years now. with normal maintenance it has worked fine for me. I think a lot depends on initial installation

I have a dynasys and the control unit (digital thermostat) is a piece of crap. It also seems a lot louder than thermo kings.

Installation is a big part on the Dynasys. Also, what model were you looking at. They now run CAT engines and have a couple different setups.
