What's the best truck to buy

    And so I shouldn't buy a truck because I'm trying to get other's advice on what different people prefer on a truck to pull flatbed? Lol

    Gotta start somewhere. Just do your homework, and make educated moves. I wish I was getting better fuel mileage, but I sleep just fine without all the emission headaches.

    I see 80's and 90's trucks running in California everyday. Must be your company requiring 2008 and newer? Just yesterday I was passed by a cabover hauling hay, was oldest, crustiest P.O.S. I've ever layer eyes on.....Maybe the guy was dodging coops hahaha

    Yeah I won't go near a maxxforce. With Cummings, cat or Detroit.

    How is that old of a truck running in California with all those laws they have? I've been told that you have to have a 2008 or newer to run in California.

    There are mileage and are exemptions in CA. I remember my K100 predated emissions relations by so much, that as long as it wasn't rolling coal, it was legal in CA.
