You'll probably want to steer clear of this truck by Navistar Internationals ProStar, model years-2008-2013: http://www.ccjdigital.com/another-lawsuit-against-navistars-egr-only-maxxforce-engines-made-public/
Steerswithears Thanks this. -
I see 80's and 90's trucks running in California everyday. Must be your company requiring 2008 and newer? Just yesterday I was passed by a cabover hauling hay, was oldest, crustiest P.O.S. I've ever layer eyes on.....Maybe the guy was dodging coops hahaha
knuckledragger Thanks this. -
Yeah I won't go near a maxxforce. With Cummings, cat or Detroit.

How is that old of a truck running in California with all those laws they have? I've been told that you have to have a 2008 or newer to run in California.
-
mojd81 that's what I hear also, but not what I see.

There are mileage and are exemptions in CA. I remember my K100 predated emissions relations by so much, that as long as it wasn't rolling coal, it was legal in CA.

I'd like to see a Peterbuilt with a Cummings...
rollin coal Thanks this.
