Best one was a '97 FLD Freightshaker with 503000 mi on it. Was a Swift truck in it's slower life. Paid $6600 for it and it was still running strong at 988500 mi when I sold it.

    Derailed Thanks this.

Trucks we've owned or driven. Owned is easy:
1982 Western Star, 350 Cummins, 10 speed (orig. spring ride, put Pete air ride on)
1972 Pete 359, 400 Cummins, 13 sp. manual steering (sig. pic)
1985 Pete 359 day cab 400 Cummins, 13 sp. (never actually trucked it, was going to make a motorhome out of it, but lost interest)
Trucks driven, mostly day cabs (takes deep breath):
    1963 IH R-190 dump
1975 Mack R model day cab, Several
    IH Transtar cab over
    Freightliner cab over
    Pete cabover
    KW cab over
    KW W-900 sleeper
    Louisville Fords, several
    Ford 9000 conv.
    IH S model
    Pete 359 conv.(2)
    Diamond-Reo conv.
    Marmon conv. sleeper
Freightliner SBFA cabover sleeper (yuk, worst truck ever)
    Freightliner FL sleeper
    Freightliner conv.
    Freightliner Century sleeper
WHEW, and that's what 35+ years be about!
