Hi ive 3yrs experience as a driver and 2 years as owner operater. Im safe driver with good MVR. I have been hauling produce for last five years. Now im tired of long waiting time, refused loads, cargo claims and having 3am appointment. i love trucking and have brand new 2015 pete truck but produce hauling is getting worse day by day since no water in CA.
Now i want to switch to dry van. Im also considering tanker. Im based in kingman AZ. Plz advise me good companies with enough frieght to run from west. I can drive in 48 states and have tanker endorsement and willing to get hazmat!!
Thank you!!
owner operater seeking advice!!

You may not be based in the best of locations for tanker/hazmat, but you're going to make more $$ with tanker than you would with dry van.
good luck. -

Tankers sit for days. Go read Indian river threads. Relocate to CA?? You had better make some money. I lived there and made 100K or more a year and it was terribly expensive. Go to work for BNSF and be a Conductor, make 80K and be home every other night. You run from there to Barstow or Winslow.

the problem is that you are in CA now if you were willing to drive dry van stay gone 2 months at a time could get a load out of there and run eastern half of the country then get a load home after 2 months u could make good money the best rates are in the mid west and can pay as much a 2-3 dollars a mile
