There will be poop bags spread out for as far as the eye can see. 1 story tall pyramids made out pee bottles will dot the landscape.

And the prostitutes would suck the chrome off a Peterbilt before it got stopped. Picked that up from Willie Nelson.

I am assuming you would charge a fee, which would mean you had better have great amenities. Showers, good food, individual cook out spaces, pool. It might work

Obi-wan said it best in Star Wars, "Mos Eisley Spaceport, you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy, we must be cautious". ( which I heard George Lucas patterned that after a 76 truckstop he visited when he was younger):biggrin_2559:

Somebody already said it best in another discussion when this question was raised, "you think truck drivers are gonna pay for that?". Truck drivers don't pay for anything unless they have to. At truckstops most of them are basically squatters holding a parking spot hostage for half a day or more keeping customers who might actually buy something away. There was a thread where some were complaining about having to pay to park in another section. You should open up a KOA and target regular motorists who will pay for such a thing.

Interesting thread. I have exactly the same thought. I was thinking 8$ a nite. Drop trailers allowed. free showers. And maybe 0pen a small grocery store on site. WiFi that works and has a strong signal. Common area under roof with seating, grills, ect. Hadn't considered the lake. Where I live I would have to dig one. I think location would have a lot to do with it. Was thing of doing this in tandem with an outdoor storage area for boats, campers ect.
Will follow this thread with great interest.

Would someone be kind enough to post a link to the other thread where this was discussed, please. Thank you. New here and still fishing around....

Hi johnnbear, you know, that really sounds like a cool idea. Maybe a 9 hole pitch & putt, a go kart track (where bumping and spinouts are allowed) and make sure the sites are pull thru. Heck, we may never leave.:biggrin_2559:
