When the price of oil per barrel goes down it takes a while for that lower price to reflect in the refined price of diesel. That cheaper crude oil has to get refined then shipped to market before we see the pump price go down.
Not like when the price of oil goes up. The pump price goes up the same time.
Today I seen $3:49 near Fond du lac Wisconsin.

I paid in Fontana, Ca. today $3.29 per gallon at a Chevron on Foothill and Cherry. The catch: cash price or Chervron card.

I paid 2.84 with company discount in OKLAHOMA City today, we would all be better off if oil was back to $90.

Experts tell me that it takes 6 mos for Saudi crude to go from the well to your pump......a price change should follow that trend.

My packy pal in Houston tells me that the jobber is changing the price on the truck as it's rolling to him.......and the same packy pal orders short so he doesn't get caught in a price war.

These two items alone put plenty of price pressure on fuels, then you have CA special blends, etc etc,.....

Just take it one tank at a time brother,

3.19 on 340 N of Berryville VA. Berryville is very famous. Wendys made an ad about the Berryville Wendy's which doesn't exist. Don't even have MCDs. I go on the price of Brent Crude and WTI. WTI is usually priced 30 days in advance. Todays price at 12 PM is 68.16 for Jan 15 2015.

OP in case you haven't figured it out ...... Oil is a rigged game.

When the price goes up it goes immediately ( on in stock inventory ) .... Not so when the price goes down.

I've sat at an oil terminal that had computer problems 20 minutes before a noon time price increase.... 5 past 12 everything is ok.... Load up.(7-8 tankers waiting at this point) all would have made it before the noon price increase Coincidence maybe..... But I think not...
