Idk about other OO's but big fleets have fuel cards. It shows time, place, truck #, driver #, and how many gallons purchased. I used to do OO team with my bro. The fuel receipt would show all that i mentioned.

If you are going to have hired drivers it is in your best interest to have an actual fuel card that you can control. You can set limits on fuel purchases with them, by doing so you can minimize the risk of a driver potentially selling your fuel for cash to someone else.

Our company uses comdata. We fuel at TA, LOVES, or any of the truck stops we deliver to. Ours shows our name, truck number, and mileage. Also time and all other details are Included and our cards are set to have a 3 hour waiting period between uses.

Comdata offers a lot of useful services besides tracking fuel. I suppose the others do also. Of course, they aren't giving them away. Deductible, maybe business services. As Drty mentioned, you get control and tracking information per unit. One feature I've used, and glad to have it, is emergency funding. You can get money loaded onto a Comdata card with a phone call, and pay for various kinds of necessary services directly.

This isn't going to end well for the OP, considering his other posts too....
