Looking for someone local to pull the wheels off the trucks and machine polish each wheel. Does anyone know of any such companies that perform this in or around the Metro-Detroit area?

I know its not local to Detroit but the I-65 chrome shop in Remington Indiana has a machine polisher. I don't remember pricing but I think it runs 80 a wheel if you have them dismount polish and remount. It is about a 5 hour drive from Detroit.

I did this one with 80, 180, 320, and 600 grit sandpaper. Then I used airway buffer wheels with rouge bars and 6000 rpm grinder to buff followed by polish. I haven't had a chance to do all the wheels until the truck comes back from the shop. Not a difficult job just very time consuming for an amateur such as myself. Sorry pics are in reverse order from washing sanding to finished. This I my first time posting from an iPhone.

I was quoted 120.00 from a company on Long Island, tires on or off. They claim they can get all of the XBR process off and bring back a beautiful shine. They use an enclosed robotic polishing machine. Not sure how long it takes, but sure beats doing it by hand.
