I'm buying my first truck. I need insurance before they will let me leave. She said most just get a 30 day policy. Needs to be auto liability non trucking liability min 1,000,000 and full coverage min 1,000 deduction and lease loss gap. Where can I find insurance like this at decent rate?

You can loin OOIDA or other truck type ###. an they will sell you everything to get started?
-
How far do you have to take it from where you bought it to where it has to go? Would it be easier to have it towed? Just an idea.
-
It's gonna be about 400 miles away. Wouldn't be a cheap tow lol

NASDAC or however its spelled is the other group that can help you get truck back home, the dealer may have a in house insur. agent they can send you to, are you lease to aco. if yes they can help you get insur.

getting it from lone mountain leasing.

You need to find an insurance agent in YOUR STATE. Anyone can insure you but it has to be a company that insures within your home state.
So...Get on the phone! -
If you check with the company that you are going to lease on with, they can probably get you an insurance binder and permits to move the truck to their location so they can dress the truck for operation. Probably wouldn't cost you anything but fuel that way.
