If I can get some of your opinions that would be great.
I am an owner of a truck and I have a driver. I lease my truck and trailer to a company and they take 12% comission of the gross. They send me load and I accept or reject.
They provide a fuel card for the driver and insurance and parking. Than they deduct it from the paycheck directly before cutting me a check. I than add the miles and cut my driver a check and I keep the rest.
I get paid weekly and payment is on point and on time.
I am now looking at any other company who can do the same for me with the same setup.
I am not happy because recently the owners father stole my driver behind my back. That is F***** up. They offered him more $ cause he was a great driver.
Now I have found another driver and looking for a different company that can provide me the same service and less commission. And one that wont steal my drivers and do shady things like that. Are there any reputable companies out there that can provide this service?
    Thank You

Perhaps you should include a clause in your driver's contract that prohibits him from working for anyone that is associated with the company that you're leased with for a period of one year following separation from your employment. You should consult an attorney to draft this.

    Or pay your drivers better.

I don't have any suggestions for you regarding another company though. Maybe run under your own authority?

ah that is just called business
drivers move on you move on
    the company moves on
you get a good driver everyone wants him
you get a bad driver no one will "steal" him

I have recently added the clause with the new driver.
I started the driver at .40c/mile and 2500-3000mile a week and home on wknds and bonuses for safe driving and compd lunch from time to time.

No, it was actually a downgrade in the truck and they are not providing that either. Just more pay and less miles.

Back to the question at hand? Are there any services around that can provide me the same service?

notice you dont mention taxes or insurance?

you expect a driver to not try and better himself?

you wont keep any real driver long
