I don't know if this matters but I am looking into buying a used Isuzu diesel 16' straight truck and a GMC gas 16' straight truck. Which one do you think is a better "investment" and keep in mind that I am more likely to buy a high mileage truck (75k - 120k for the Isuzu and 100k - 120k for the GMC)?
Might buy the truck used from either Penske or Budget and they come with warranty.
Thanks.

If you are talking about them both being cabovers, get the diesel. They are the same truck.

|5 to 120 s not high mileage for a truck.

Penske sells GMC Savana G33903 which is a 16' straight truck while Budget sells 16' Isuzu NPR and GMC W4500 (both diesels)

I just noticed that the Penske truck GVW is at 12,300 while the Budgets (both) are 15,000. I am not planning on getting a DOT license at this time (I will later) so I better stick with the Penske truck?

You can get the heavier GVW truck, doesn't affect license requirements depending on how you plate it.

Well, I plan to register under my business name. It will be used to move household goods locally.

Under 26,000 lbs gross vehicle weight is a non-cdl truck so don't worry about the cdl part. -
Ridgeline, are you referring to GMC diesel trucks? They still make the gas GMC trucks. I just got back from Penske and I'm looking at $12,250 for the 2011 GMC Savana 16' truck with 107k miles. I'm thinking about buying it Monday.
