Hey all,
We have a T600 in Macalla, AL that a fan blade came off and put a hole in the radiator.
We are planning on sending another driver down, we are from NC, to get driver and load.
Would like suggestions on a good independent shop that we can take truck too in Birmingham area that could take care of truck for us.
Thanks, Brett

B&C in Jasper is a family owned business that I used last summer for a transmission, very good people and fair prices.
One of the national radiator suppliers is in Birmingham, don't remember the name though, but would be worth finding.blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
if the truck is bobtail after another truck picks up the loaded trailer, why not bypass the radiator and run it like that. the weather is cold enough you should be able to make it home to do repairs at your shop.
have driver keep close eye on engine temp though.
I've done it once, birminham to atlanta. got an all metal radiator and repair for much cheaper than out of shop.blairandgretchen and mrbamcclain Thank this. -

After fighting issues w/ copper brass radiators leaking (3 in a year and a half) that I was getting through the Mack dealer, I ordered one of their aluminum radiators...had it in a couple days and went in pretty easy. Not bad on price, either. Don't know if they have a shop or where you are in relation to them, but if you need a radiator, they did good w/ my order.blairandgretchen Thanks this.
