I'm looking at the scangauge for my truck. My question is the company I'm going to require me to use a eld that plugs into that port. Anyway to run them both?

You can run both. They all plug into each other.
TruckerPete1990 Thanks this. -

You don't need the KR edition SG, just a SG diesel, on the net or from motorhome dealers.
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
I bought mine at camping world.
-
I've seen them at Autozone also.
-
The KR edition's biggest feature is the MPG. Instead of updating every second it averages it over like 15 seconds so your not chasing it. And I'm not talking about the average MPG
-
IMHO you buy a scan gauge to primarily save fuel, the KR edition helps you due this with the current MPG be averaged over 8 seconds, which helps you tremendously with your goal. Spend the extra 50 on the KR, you'll be glad you did.

I just ordered the kr one.

I got the x-gauge codes from scan gauge for my 2013 DD15, I usually have it set to monitor my after treatment system. I watch the DPF temperature, the DOC temperature, the NOX sensor and the DPF differential pressure.
In the winter I would see that it did an active regen almost daily, 3-4 minutes at 1000F. And a passive regen almost weekly, 2-1/2 hours at 800F. And once a month an active regen, 1140F for 20 minutes.
In the summer it hardly ever does any regen as climbing large hills the DPF would get up to 770F, so basically I got a free passive regen anytime I climbed a large hill.
So I use my scan gauge for piece of mind as to how my emission system is behaving.ipogsd Thanks this.
