Considering an 01 Freghtliner Argosy (cab over) with 10 speed, 12.7 Detroit. Only around 700k miles. I like the idea of it being shorter, like driving a day cab but has a sleeper in case I might need to use it. I pull dry vans only. Any good or bad experiences with one of these trucks?

I'd like to drive a cab-over again. But like any 14 yo truck, check it over very good. But if all goes well with the inspection, and the price is right, go for it.

Don't forget you will always be the 1st one to the scene of the crash. Other than that you can't beat a fuel squeezer detroit. I wouldn't go too deep in debt on it, you may have a harder time trying to resell it than you did buying it.

The cabover is coming back. At least, I think it is. lol. Those new Argosy gliders are pretty sweet looking.

I love the look of them. I had an old Peterbilt for a long time, climb in and jump out. Lay down putting your clothes on, and if you having engine problems it never fails everything ends up in the windshield when you jack it up.
