    AND?

    I've got three of them and love them. I bought extra batteries and got a custom 12 volt charger if I need it on the road.

    Johny41 Thanks this.

    I got one and it works great. I used it the other day again when I had to fix my broken s cam bearing bolts in the Yukon. Just the callout would have cost more than I paid for the kit.

    I'm primitive, looks like many of you guys already have cordless tool in your trucks:)
    I paid 429$ +tax for this kit with 2 batteries and charger at Rural King, in Illinois;

    Why rely upon battery power when the truck has an air compressor built in, air tools are MUCH less expensive, and air tools will run circles around their battery powered counterparts any day of the week?

    Johny41 and Derailed Thank this.

    iv got a harbor freight 18 volt cordless 1/2 drive impact it can be handy but its a lot bulkier than its air counterpart witch can be troublesome. it's not near as powerful as the one you posted 700ft lbs is what my good 1/2 air impact puts out.

    i like the cordless for small jobs on the truck when your on the road. also good if the truck isnt running...lol. i never use it in the shop. for the most part for truck tools i carry hand tools and the cordless impact as well as a cordless drill. i carry a big breaker bar as well as a big cheater bar. i haven't not been able to get myself out of a breakdown with what i carry in the truck. bigger jobs i will try to limp it home if i can and do it in the shop.

    Matter of the right tool for the right job. Got cordless drill for drilling (duhhh) and screw driver. Air for impacts, cut-off wheel and 3" buffer (gotta have some bling)

    I think it'd be advantageous to not have to idle the truck. I'll be getting one soon. Still waiting on the M18 grease gun to get here.

    Johny41 Thanks this.
