Depends on how much money. After I went into Manhattan enough to have and idea of the general layout, it wan't to bad. Sure, it can be tight, but so can cities like Boston and Philly. The main thing for me was knowing how to get back out of there.

Like kemosabi said, it all depends on how much money. I've pulled oversize out of JFK to Boston, so I ain't scared. I'm not dumb either, if it's not paying exceedingly above average plus the toll money, I won't be taking it.
double yellow Thanks this. -
Been goin in there all my life&yrs we get Very good $$$....but...only you know your costs....so what do you need to get to call it good money? Also knowing that if you are not a regular to the NE....frt out is slim at best....so factor that into your equation....basically like anything else....

Whatever you figure your rate should be, plus $800. You have around $200 extra in tolls. Then you need to have plenty of time to get in there, take it easy dont stress over them cuttin ya off, just ease back and be happy with the extra you make.
This was a load of foam insulation that paid me $1500 for 3 hours and 169 miles of travel down to Brooklyn. Thats the kind of numbers I look for when I consider NYC area. -
They must ust have upped the money. Bristol used to be like $950 on that, and Montgomery (formerly in Kingston) used to be $1050.
I go to the city a lot. I look at rates in terms of hrly plus extras. Really the only way to figure it in my estimation.Cetane+ Thanks this.
