I'm not even think of going far to west coast. Only from PA to midwest/texas/southern east states.

Not much need to go to California soon anyway.

If the water problems keep happening in California and the government does nothing about making clean water out of sea water for human consumption or for the growing crops, the will be no need to go to California at all any more.

No fresh water = no water for growing food + no jobs because no need for people for picking no crops + no water to drink or flushing human waist down the drain,

No jobs means no work and no money for anything.

People will be starting to move east for work and food and water.

The wealthy will have to do something soon if they want to keep the wine racks full of California wine.
Will not be any water for make and growing grapes for wine either.

The wealthy will @#$% a brick and clog up the toilet but still have no water to flush the toilet.

What about turning radius? I have driven a long nose Pete as well as a Cascadia and a few older Volvos. Both the Cascadia and Volvos turn really tight. There were times when I was at a smaller DC and had to do a U turn on their lot. No problem with the Volvo or Cascadia but the Pete was horrible. I imagine many of the Kenworths would also need a lot of room.

I don't drive 10 speed but I think a lot of guys drive it because it's a direct drive transmission which helps mileage rather than over speeding your rears to run your 18 in direct. I drive 18s and do the run fast drive slow thing.

gear ratios all depend for the weight your hauling. 80k lbs guys usually rock the 321 or 336. 100k lbs 358. 140k lbs super b 370 to 411. I run super b with 336 but I have bigger power.

I have a 2014 volvo 730 with a ishift. I absolutely did not want a automatic when I was truck shopping but figured I may as well test drive one.... that was it for me. absolutely love it, guys complain about autos but they usually aren't driving a newer ishift..... I've driven a crap eaton ultra shift and hated it.

a nice 780 244 wheel base with a ishift would be the perfect truck. that is unless you don't feel like driving if you ain't shifting.
