Thanks everyone for all of the useful information that you all have posted. I have a question I'd like to ask. From my reading on these posts I've noticed that all of the Owner/Operators that make good money are very good business men. Does anyone know of any books on being a successful Owner/Operator???

    Thanks in advance,

    Manny

Good question! I would love to know too. I will tell you one thing driver. There is an audio CD sold in the truckstops about the subject. Its pricey, but it TOTALLY changed my view on the industry and what it takes to be an O/O. If you don't think you will and are just curious, I would not spend the money, but if you really are thinking about it, maybe its worth it.

I wish someone knew the name, because then maybe we could download it off of limewire for free.

YEAH!!! Why pay for something when you can steal it??!!!!:biggrin_25510: That's one of the problems with this country now....people are too lazy to do it right. Do it quick....do it cheap....screw the other guy that worked hard to make it.... All the thousands and thousands of men and women that have taken the knocks and learned how to make it..... Is this what we've taught our children.....It's better to steal something than pay for it? Mannyvez....(you too wc5b)I'll look for it and if I see it I'll PM you with the title....Somehow you strike me as the kind of people that wouldn't just steal something.

    Thanks again,

If you find the info please PM me as well (or just post it). I would like to see if I can download it from somewhere because I might not be going anywhere near any truck stops that have it, but I'll pay for it if I do - as I do with all downloads.

    Thanks.
