January 1, paid 3.059 per gallon.

In Missouri yesterday, 4.599 per gallon.

$2.96 in 1996????????????????????????????????

It was $2.99 Feb 2008 around here and under a buck around here in 96.

June 2006. I wonder what I was looking at.
In 1999, it was .99 cents.

Just finished posting all of this years loads to the computer. It was sad posting the fuel prices and seeing how they went up each week.

Basically works out to 50% of the money I made went to buy fuel for the truck's habit.

You ARE NOT the only that is happening to. I've heard that a couple times just this week, and thats what is happening to me. I cannot afford to pay myself a week what ONE tank of fuel costs.

I read today that Congress is trying to limit the role of oil speculators on Wall Street- blaming them for some of the whopping increase in prices.

How about a 55 drum of veggie oil? I think Sam's Club sells that.

==================================================

Just called the local club and the gal told me they have 35 sized containers. I wasn't sure if she said gallons or pounds.

Any way its $30.99 for what ever size that 35 container is.

If its gallons I could save a bunch of coin by dropping two of those in my truck when I'm home.
