Several posts were deleted that had nothing to do with the price of fuel.

dont stop along I-5!

..it went from 3.99 to 4.06 in 1 week here, Eugene, OR..Shell station off I-5.. of course here in Oregon there is no state sales tax, their taxes are added on to the the regular price of fuel so it will be higher than most other states avg.. so pick ur poison, a state sales tax or added fuel taxes..

..by the way, on the Fri evening news, ABC or NBC did a segment on how truckers are dealing with the high cost of fuel. One owner of a trucking company said for the 1st time in their co.'s history they are paying more for fuel than they are paying the drivers to haul their freight!

A gal called into the Lockridge report today (4/11/08 ) on Sirius Road Dog. Her and her husband own a log trucking business.

At Chehalis WA exit 72 she said fuel was $4.699 today, up from $4.229 yesterday.

I've seen a jump all around my route, but not that big. Only about .10
