well you say used oil but they you say "make it" so are you converting it to BD or using it straight? I made a BD procesor a few years back, it's easy but time consuming to make large amounts. Straight veggie has ben known to clog injectors and you need in tank heaters to heat it.

you can use new cooking oil stright! but yes i do make it when i have time 150 gallons at a time.the procesor i got i dont do much just trun it on and let it go so it dont cosum much time for me.but i do buy it when on the road from others that make it for 1.50-1.65 saves alot of money.and for the tank heaters to heat it most trucks have some type of fuel heaters now for keeping the diesel from geling but yes you are right.i got to come up with a bigger procesor wud like to get one that can make 200-250 gallons at one time but make it come out right everytime

I settled it in my processor so it tied it up for a bit of time. and only did 50 gallons at a shot, well actually about 40 it was a 50 gallon tank.

Actually more new trucks don't have fuel heaters these days most I see only have a fuel filter heater since the computer motors use the fuel to cool the injectors it returns it hot to the tank so it does away with most the need for fuel tank heaters. Most your older trucks will have collant based tank heating elements and that is yor best situation..

actually you can use used oil straight too you just need to filter it. It would be pretty dumb to use new oil straight although I guess duel rices could be up to more than new oil these days I havn't looked at the price of oil lately.

What type of prcessor are you using? is it heating the oil?

I've heard rape seed oil runs good. havn't tried it though. Mines was made from a wtaer heater as well but apparently not as large as yours lol. I put a tankless heater in my house and used the one I had to make the processor since it was nearly new.
what do you do with the glycerin left over. I was getting quite the collection and could see it would have been a problem with larger production. I was just making a little bit and running it inmy mercedes

Absolutely not Dion...in fact it is the best lubrication your injectors/pump can get. Just don't run high percentage BD if you are going into cold climates...the gel point is higher on BD.

no it will NOT HURT your motor one bit.but you do got to do some rubber work and make sure about heating or it will gel up in the cold but in the summer you can run a higher percentage of wvo or svo with little heat.....MEdicine man i sell the left over glycerin to the make-up company's there are other things you can do with it.mercedes is used to runing wvo in the summer you can just pour it right into and go down the road.sorry didnt have much time to write will go into it more for M603 am sure medicine man will help to
