Unfortunately none of them are accepted everywhere so I have 3. Flying J, Fleet One Local and Fleet One over the road. With this combo I can get fuel just about anywhere with some sort of discount at the pump or at least everywhere I have been so far.

I liked the TCH card when I had it. Accepted at FlyingJ and many other stops.

Maybe its just me, but I would feel like I had a big bulls eye on my back carrying around $3000 a week for fuel.

A guy could get robbed, if its in the truck the truck could get broken into or burn up. Cash money gone.

I use my debit card or check writing privileges at the J.

EFS is a pain, but it keeps track of mileage, and fuel stops, and the EFS check is about half as hard as Com-Data, less numerals to mix up. It only prints out the date and state when you get a readout. It won't let you fuel within a hundred miles within 24 hours unless you get a linehaul version, so if you goof up and don't get enough fuel, it takes some time on the phone before you can fix that.

I had Com-Data hang me on fueling times, they got the time zone wrong, because I was logging it right.

That's possible if you are talking about one truck. I used to give all of my drivers cash every week when they left for fuel and other expenses. That was before I spent $30,000 in legal fees defending myself with the department of homeland security and the SEC for suspicion of money laundering.

I even had several people, including the president of my bank, warning me that it was going to happen, but I blew them off and had to learn the hard way.
