The Cause of High Fuel Prices

Fuel is being made here in the USA and sold to foriegn countries. This is one of the reasons why fuels going up.

I beieve oil may come down to $100.00 a barrel. But gas will con't to go up until they make up what they have lost by not bring up gas prices with oil prices. My guess is gas will go to About $5.00 a gal.

China and India are the cause of fuel going up in price. They have a population of 2 billion people, thats 6 times bigger than we are and their economy is growing at 10-12 % a year. To make things worse they are growing on our money. WHAT IS HAPPENING IN OUR COUNTRY IS A SIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE WHOOPING PRICE'S are because our government has encouraged American companies to go to China and India to have products made; and to make it worse our resources are sold to these countries to be made by them, to sell back to us.

This madness!

There is a lot of blame to go around in many areas.

Don't forget the nature nazis and tree huggers that won't allow us to drill for our own massive oil reserves on American soil.

When I made the above comment I was holding back. When oil was $30 a barrel gas was $1.50 a gal. When oil was $60 a barrel gas was $3.00 a gal. At $120.00 a barrel gas should be $6.00 a gal. We are at around $133.00 a barrel we should be about $6.50 a gal. Prices are being held back so as to not panic the population. They will eventually make back their lose by keeping the price higher on gas once oil level off.

It's possible we are being prepared for $200 a barrel oil that will cost $9.99 a gal.

They are playing a game with American citizens. The gov. demands higher gas mileage cars and when we get there the oil companies raise the price on us. This will go on and on until Americans revolt in some way.

Yes, but the commercial truck industry was used as a guinea pig and SOME of the price difference has been dealt to the diesel price. I guess they think we will not panic and they were right.

Oh, I think I got it. You saying that the profit thats being lost on gas is being made up on diesel fuel. I do watch diesel prices so I can't extract the connection.

I do know diesel prices are outrageous. It is a bi product of gas. It is the easiest fuel except kerosene, to make. Lets take a look at this. first of all I believe refiners are selling our diesel to other countries#1. Next diesel was always cheaper fuel, it should be about $3.75 a gal, about $.25 cheaper than gas. Instead it's about $.55 more than gas.

So, ya. It seems your may have something there. Those who use diesel are paying about $.80 a gal more than you should be paying!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good point gazoo
