It would depend on who did the lettering and how it was applied. Whoever does Heartland, we have 4 ex of theirs, they took the stripes off of the one I had, too, but they left them on the other 3. I think some of them they can peel off, but it leaves a shadow.

Here is something I found. Hope it is helpful.

We used a rubber wheel on the drill. Not sure what it is called. LOL Works pretty slick.

For vinyl, a hair dryer works pretty good too.

The hair dryer deal woks good, our shop has that goo b gone that gets the sticky stuff off pretty good. I've used one of those buffers, it didn't have flaps though. My buddy that works at a body shop calls them erasers, the one he gave me lasted a long time.

I think it would be ALLOT better if it didn't have flaps. that's what wore out so fast. still was expensive though. Mabey I'll try the hair dryer, I was going to get my heat gun and use it but I can't find the thing since I moved. it may be in my cutlass which is still in storage.

I think you should do fine with the hair dryer. Thats what we used to remove all the little silver women silhouettes from the truck.
