Who knows, maybe nine months down the road I won't consider leasing on to anyone, but for now, it seems the only way to achieve what I want is to get the MC and run for myself because I don't have the "recent" time to run with anyone other than Schneider. LS gets by here regularly and their broker board shows it.
And, maybe even more importantly, I certainly don't have all the answers. That's why I read so much. I've learned a whole lot here in the last how ever many weeks I've been around. Thanks y'all. |
As of three weeks ago, Schneider now has 3 loads a week coming out of Theodore,AL going to California. I sold my company three weeks ago and I voided the contract that I had with Schneider's brokerage division on those loads. People don't realize that there are alot of loads that never hit the brokerage load boards at companies like that because they have long term contracts with outside carriers to handle recurring loads such as the one I described. I have hauled alot of broker loads for Schnieder over the years and for the most part, the have always been fair with me and paid a decent rate.
