Insurance ?
Currently leased to a company and have their insurance. Thinking of getting my own insurance & my own authority and I've just gotten a couple of companies from the internet. I know it will be high, had my CDL for 1 1/2 years with a clean record. I need to get away from the company I am leased to because they are robbing me blind. I'm in Florida, are there any links to look at to obtain own authority?

Yes, this definitely a great forum. I've lurked for over a year now, my husband is the truck driver. We own our truck & trailer and he's leased on with a company that doesn't pay well at all.
We have friends that own their own trucks too, but I thought I would try to educate myself on these boards.
