Bad Injector?
I have a 14L Detroit with a bad miss. I am pretty sure it is an injector on the way out. Anyone know what a dealership would charge to change it? I would love to do it myself, but since the divorce, I have no shop to do it in.

Well...it aint the injector, that is the bad news. The good news is that it may be something internally lubricated. Good news because for another 46,000 miles, it is under warranty, injectors weren't. Truckers

The injector seals are getting hard and shrinking because of the new low sulfur fuelPut some seallube in the last fuel filter before the pump and let it idle a few minutes till the fuel mixture gets to the injectors then shut her down and let her
soak overnight.Should work like new. Click on seallube or check auto parts stores in Michigan.

Well darn, I forgot to update here. Anyways, it turned out to be a bad camshaft. It is still at the dealer getting fixed and it was/is covered under warranty. Truckers

where did you buy your truck from Gazoo? are you the guy who bought a ryder truck?

I ask because the last three ryder trucks we bought at my old job all had detroits and they all had to have the cam replaced before 300k
