    well as i see it

buy your own truck....or just dont go home

no other way to do it an still make money that i know of

lease's are never in the drivers favor....and thats what you are ...a driver making the company's payment for them

get with the SBA, do a business plan and buy you own truck...then you can lease it on, or get your own authority

You can go home when you have made the amount of money to cover your expenses.

Remember that you are a company driver that pays for truck up keep.

You need to give a lot more info to get useful responses . How close to home do your loads get you ? It would seem not trying to get certain days of the week but rather trying to get home for a restart when you are close to running out of hours would be the best option .

Man.... there are so many variables and your question is too broad.

It all depends on the customer base you are working, where you are located, etc.

I haul primarily in the Upper Midwest. I live dead in the middle of my operating area. So I get home every weekend and by the house a couple of times a week. Still am able to put in a high number or miles at a decent rate so that I am doing pretty well. Good solid customer base that keeps moving product even in with the economic downturn.

Running 48 would be more of a problem to try and determine a realistic home time schedule. That is why I gave up 48 running about 11 years ago. I do remarkably well running the region. I will bounce out further to cover a good load, but not often.
