IRfanview is good free software that will resize your pics. Faststone you can mass resize. Its also free.

Not related to CARB at all, but I have a quick question for you guys. It has come to my attention from all my reading here that if Stace and I are going to buy a truck in the spring I had better get to work on improving my maintenance skills.

So my question is about grease guns. I do have one but I only ever use it to grease the fifth wheel cause really we're in a company truck and if they're cool with only doing a pm every 45,000 miles who am I to argue? Anyway, when I grease the fifth wheel it often ends up looking like some sort of weird, sad skit paying homage to The Three Stooges while I end up with grease on every single piece of clothing including the bottoms of my socks. Clearly I'm ready to advance to more difficult projects.

So the driver's chair is squeaking and I've decided to grease it myself. I know how to do the actual greasing what with fitting the grease gun onto the fitting thingy on the chair. But I don't know how to tell when I've added enough grease. Are there any surefire signs that you've added enough or should I just keep squeezing the grease into the chair until my socks are covered and call it a day?

Thanks for any advice.
Dude, grease on fifth wheels only if you have to change trailers often.. Fifth wheel mats on the kingpin are the only way to go if you keep the same trailer.. Just dump the airbags when you drop-hook and those mats will last a long time for 25 bucks, cheaper and no grease terds all over the place..
You can also get fifth wheels with the friction plate built-in, but you better have deep pockets! I'd like to hear more about those myself from somebody who has experience with one?

Except for the driveshaft, 2 or 3 shots per zerk is what mine gets every week, anymore and its wore-out anyway or just gonna make a mess..

I don't put any air in my seat anyway, so no grease required there for me..
As for seat maintenance when riding around in the JB Hunt position, somebody else will have to say..
Alot of times the factory seats are those cheap bostroms with the scissor lift base, grease won't be an option in that case, the only thing that helps those is a welder..
I had some of those and the passenger seat would rattle like hell when they were new..
I junked them out and got me some Nationals..
