Hate to tell you this Ol'Boy But those days are gone.
I had to change plugs in my Mitsubishi Montero. The top half of the engine has to come off. Takes about 4-6 hours and if you have someone do it they charge 6-800 dollars.. I could change the motor in my old pick-up in that length of time and rebuild it for about the same cost. To think we used to think Star Trek was High Tech. LOL

I met Pharm near Toledo,Ohio this week. He was having some electrical problems. His 02 Pete was a lot more complicated than my 07 WesternStar.

in the late 90's Pete went to that microprocessor wiring system. All the signals are sent along the same few wires and then sorted out at the destination. You can unplug all the gauges and mix them all up putting them back in different places and they will all still work.

sounds like a nightmare to me

I agree with Wayne. I know it does still stink but 200 dollars is better than NO dollars.
I know this is so cliche and you probably don't want to hear it, but I'm compelled to say it (maybe for those very reasons ). This week may have sucked but next week will be better. Think positively.

Oh man, that was my 50th post. WooHoo I can PM now..... I'm gonna spam everybody.

Nah, not really.
Hmm, I was gonna say not really because I'm not much of a chatter on here, but apparently I'm becoming one.

I'm sitting at HEB in sanantonio. the load board said the delivery on this was 19:30, when I booked it they told me 20:00 and when I got here they told me 20:30 and the stuck me in the stagin area. 105 degrees and the AC barely keeps up. it's blowing cold but every surface in this truck is 100 degrees. Suns starting to go down now.

I've been nervous. the last time I was here was my second Landstar load and it's the one where my transmission almost fell out. and it was also a 47k lb load. Figures, the two heaviest loads I have pulled both came to HEB..

I rdinarilly try to keep my loads down to 40k or under. Blue is no powerhouse and it's really hard on the transmission.
