MM Tell us about your next load. Is it heavy? Where and when do you pick it up? Where is it going?

MM, One thing I personally have to consider is how a truck "Fits me"

I'm a tall guy and have a LOT of trouble with leg room.not only at the pedals, but where does the window crank hit my left knee.

I run without any air in the seat because if there's air in the seat, I'm looking into the sun visor instead of out the windshield.

How it rides comes in second, because a truck can have the best ride and If I don't fit the drivers area without any problems...I'm miserable.

Looks come in last place with me...I guess brand loyalty fits in here too...The exceptions being a Mack and a Volvo. Been there and done that....don't want any more experience with either one of those.

I'm going to buy the truck that is best for me according to those criteria.

It also has to earn its keep.

I've driven Petes, KWs, Freightliners and Internationals. All have their plus and minus factors when My "Fit" comes into play.

It's YOU that has to be happy with your ride.

Keep in mind that "Blue" IS 20 some odd years old. I'm trying to work smarter not harder these days. I can't work as hard as I could 20 years ago.........Can you?????

Did I gorget to mention I woke up at 4am sweating like a pig so I went to start the truck and it wouldn't start? took me a half hour to get it started then I had to go back to bed even more sweaty and greasy to boot.

I think it was my reality check lol

So I changed my mind like 3 times in 6 hours last night

oh, I'm pluged into the idleair. not worth idleing the truck during mid day, the ac won't keep up in this heat. idleair is expensive but it works good.

In truth I knew the started solinoid in this truck is getting bad. It gave me some fits up in MI last week. I had intended to replace it when I got home but then I had the ac thing so I figured I'd be okay to put off the starter awhile. It had done strange things but hadn't ever not started for me. It sucked spending a half hour checking everything to make sure I was geting power then finally just whacked the hell out of it with a hammer and it started right up
