5mouths2feed,got that cottonseed unloaded yet? wheathauler, didnt think you'd be too excited about that long of a trip. Owensboro is already starting to get 2 lines backed up to 3rd street, but at least we are gettin rolling, hope weather stays good this week for yall.

Would any of you be aware of any companies in the western PA / eastern OH region, thant haul hoppers ? Also, which are the feed / grain elevator companies in this area, if any ? Thanks.

Can't really help you. I would suggest get the names of some of the trucks at the elevator. Talk to guys at elevators they usually know who hauls there frequently. If you don't know where elevators are try to find some on internet. Here in Kansas easy to find elevators probably not so in PA or Ohio. Good Luck.

me I waited 7 1/2 hours to unload last night at prairie pride (between ft.scott KS and Nevada MO) great unloading setup but they broke a main conveyor yesterday afternoon and didnt get running until 2 am I was there at midnight and I left at 7:30 this morning there was such a line but my scale time was less than 5 minutes (the pit is right in the middle of the scale, unload both hoppers at the same time) so thats a pretty good Idea how many trucks there were. I got to sleep a little off and on so a little sleepy today hope the line tonigh wont be so bad be safe, be profitable, and give em hell this will be a busy week |

sorry bout the (170 mile, one way, field haul )reply to wheathauler, meant 170 miles one way,not 1.70 per mile, did not mean to insult anybody ,especially wheathauler, probably be a good idea to proof read my reply 1st before i click on (post reply), i bet you folks do think i'm stupid to ask someone to drive that far for feild loads!! i will stop the sarcasm since i'm new at this. again no offence meant to wheathauler or farmermatt. great forcast thru mon. our corn is still 25%,some folks around here are saying they have some corn sprouting on the ear, maybe nov. will be as dry as oct. was wet. be carefull

Dairyman, Didn't upset me knew what you meant. Still quite a ways to go out of field. One of the longest I have heard of. Started cutting corn today...just got home at 7:30. Running my butt off haven't done that in a while.
