did you try any of the bulk load boards ? i have no personal experience with them , but have signed up to a couple and i get my inbox flooded with messages of loads. my broker uses a couple other boards when his regular dedicated go thru a dry spell and he's looking to get me out of an area.
hope you can get a good rpm and pay the big bills.

Wheathauler, we had a bad July as far as wheat harvest. I hope the corn, rice, and soybeans go better for us. Or I get a Riceland card soon. Either way we are gonna hang on cause thats all we know how to do.

I've got a unique situation, a former employer of mine (good guy, just did seasonal silage harvest for him a few years back) wants me to come run his truck for him. He used to pull a skateboard but can't anymore due to health issues and he wants to get his truck back out on the road. Due to his silage cutting business he wants to get a belt trailer and have me run it out and about when we aren't cutting silage. The unique part is, he just wants to take care of the truck and trailer upkeep and he wants me to find my own loads, take care of the billing, and do the small maitenance (oil changes and keeping the truck greased and so forth). I will be driving for percentage (won't say how much, but quite a bit better than just a company driver percentage). Where I'm hoping you guys could possibly help me out is on finding loads. Ive already contacted Scoular, Hannsen Mueller, CHS, Cargill, Gavilon, and West Plains/CT Freight services. Are there any midwest bulk load/grain and commodity brokers that i'm missing? Any other advice will be welcomed. We will be based out of Hays, KS.
