I think I remember Turon. If its the one I'm thinking of, the trucks line up on the edge of the blacktop from both directions, and have a Chinese circus on the CB trying to figure out who is last in line, who is behind who. Also remember a big feedlot near Larned, but the biggest I was at was Ford County Feeders near Dodge City. That place was huge. The lines were long too, but I was driving their truck, so that just meant more reading time for me. :biggrin_255:

Certainly had some rain last few days. Hutch only had .80 but just to the south had much more. About ten miles south was pretty wet. The storms just kept coming through, heard thunder all day but no rain. Need some heat so harvest can start. Thinking maybe late fall harvest this year. Lastest ever hauled for farmer was week after Thanksgiving.

Still hauling some wheat for seed dealer...usually do that until the first of the year.

$2.59 - $2.64 coming across Mo yesterday but there was one station at $2.54. Got up today and the truck stop I was at went down to $2.57 overnight. $2.57 - $2.59 down through AR and MS. It looks like the price dropped quite a bit already and the stations are making up profit by letting it drop slowly.

Thanks. I noticed the diesel went down to 2.65 here. Like you said going down very slowly.

Wheathauler I'm gonna start hauling rocks thursday for a few weeks til the rice starts. Through with the Luzeanna corn. Driving a 1982 IH 2200 with a 290 Big Cam Cummins and a Spicer Super 10. Like the motor hate the tranny wish for AC. Oh well it'll make me appreciate the 9400's.

Yes, I think it would make you appreciate the 9400's. You don't have AC that's not good. Good luck with the rocks. Hopefully the rice starts soon.

Guys do any of you have experience with Groeneveld greasers. Our 2 IH 9400's have them and 1 of them is empty. We've already had problems with the lines plugging to the clutch linkage and causing problems. Our mechanic put alamites in that and the throwout bearing which cured that problem. The boss isn't ready to trash it and put in all those alamites which I would personally prefer but it's his truck. OK the question- how do you refill the thing??? Cartridge or pump it full??? How do you bleed it??? Any help would be appreciated as I'm sposed to get it done.

Would think if they were cartridge you would have found a cartridge in it somewhere. Probably have to pump it but not sure. Some of them have a container to put the grease in, probably on frame somewhere. Bleed it don't know. Presume talking about automatic greasers.
