Been slow and not really expecting it to get better for a while. The drought really cut down on the amount of loads available this year. Grandkids were all down for Thankgiving so it was pretty lively.

Be careful what you wish for, its not even officially winter yet. But we need moisture in some form or another, no doubt about that.

Good job! Still flatbedding, won't be much hopper work for me this winter, not much in my customers' bins. Yep, that wheat dust can be bad, milo is even worse....

Those are good looking trailers. I've seen their flats occasionally but never a hopper. But I don't get very far west.

I love the western hoppers, the set I pull has over a million miles on them and still going strong. Here's a pic of a set of the Canadian spread R-tac hoppers we use as well, they're a 32 foot lead with a 30 foot pup

I put my two weeks in today with this company and took a job with JFB trucking from Idaho Falls ID. His trucks are dispatched by the same company I'm dispatched by now so that won't be a change, the big change is my truck, and the pay. I'm going from .30 per mile for circuit trucking to .36 per mile for JFB, and I'll be in a Kenworth which will be a totally new one for me. Anyway, here she is

Good looking W-900. Dang guard for it would stop a moose I would think. Must have big critters where you go.

Deer are the most common, I have had near misses with elk and big horn sheep. Seeing moose and bears is also known to happen
