Hello. I wish to learn how to drive/operate a truck/18-wheeler with cab, in order to take the CDL examination. Will pay for your time. I do not possess a truck. I do not wish to go to school and pay the large tuition, nor attend a company-sponsored school for driving.

The state of Ohio allows this, as long as the instruction is, within the state of Ohio and any state, allowing this kind of instruction.

My name is Fred. My telephone number is against TOS (Term Of Service) rules to post in here.

If you are slow, this can be your alternative.

    Thank you!

Hello. I am trying to find an o/o who will teach me, for financial consideration, how to drive a 18-wheeler truck with cab, in order to take the CDL test. I do not wish to attend a school, for the tuition is high. I do not wish to attend a company-sponsored school, either.

The state of Ohio allows this type of training, as long as the instruction is within the state of Ohio and permissible, neighboring state(s).

How can I find this licenced, trucker? I do not possess a truck.

    Thank you!

Go up to a driver that lives close to you and get to know him try to make friends as time goes by and you chat with him on a regular basis maybe he will teach you a few things. You can also apply to a company that will train you and pay you at the same time. Here is a good piece of advice there is always something to learned everyday as long as your are driving behind the wheel.

Drive safe and don't rush, learn the Smith System and live by it.

you do realize even if you get the license nobody will hire you right? you either have to have experience or the schooling, which they count as experience. it's the insurance companies who require it o there is few ways around it

I met my friend who is owner operator through this way. It seems I drove up while he was working on his truck. We befriended each other and have become good friends. He offered to teach me and I did not ask. So, it will happen.
