Rough estimate on fees, plates, insurance, stickers.....etc

Looking to buy a truck and im from Illinois. Not sure if it will be a CLASS A or CLASS B, I might get a 2 axle international truck or like a GMC truck. I will bed doing car hauling, around 4-5 cars. Just to get an idea, what should I expect for the following:

1. Truck insurance:
2. Cargo/bond insurance:
3. License plates:
4. Sticker renewal:

misc... fees

Assuming good drive record, I know prices will vary, but a ballpark would help. I also might be confusing my CDL class A and class B, whats considered a class B? The smaller international trucks?? TIA

Most of that depends on the GVW of the vehicle you are buying.

Class A is usually associated with combination vehicles (tractor trailer, doubles, etc.). Class B is usually associated with a straight truck with a GVW rating of 26,001 lbs or more, usually with air brakes.

way more than you could ever imagine.
I'm local (Colorado only), so my stuff is much cheaper than OTR.

Tires, fuel, ongoing maintenance, stuff always breaks.
Figure $1/mile in costs and you'll be in the ballpark (that's where my figures fall too)

Ball park estimates aren't worth your time. Too many variables.
Go out and get insurance rates with your driving record. Contact DMV and DOT for other fee and permit costs. I know it's a pain in the booty but it's also going to be a good learning experience (geesh, I sound like my Dad). Get firm numbers and you'll know what you're dealing with and who to deal with when the time comes to pull the trigger.

My radius was 500 miles,....But that was fine,..I was able to cover Detroit to Minneapolis and points between,.......I can't remember for sure,..But I think I had a half a million in cargo insurance,.....

I am no longer in business,......My freight dried up and what was left wasn't profitable,...So I quit,.....
