Being a relatively remote Pilbara town we try to help out truckies where we can to get them back on the road. In November last year we went out of our way to source and fit a specific sized Kenworth fan belt for BOWZAM TRANSPORT. Driver Leon Thow seemed a decent bloke at the time who promised to provide credit card details when we had the costs for the job, and in good faith we allowed him to go on his way. We've rung him 6 times now with no reply. We are hoping he may want to generate some good karma for himself and his business and send us the $575.50 he owes.

I think maybe before you have a winge you should think to get hold of the company not try to get hold of the truck driver Leo, as he may not have even told the company about this, i no for a fact that the truck sat there for 4 days trying to gets parts to get fixed, but as for the parts goin in the truck we were lead to belive they were fitted else where as you could not get them. and for futre referance you should not have been trying to get in touch with the driver about this matter you should have been trying to get in touch with the OWNER of the truck, BOWZAM TRANSPORT as if you contacted the owner you would have been paid and this would have been sorted out, RING THIS NUMBER 0754656247 all talk it through with BOWZAM TRANSPORT OWNER not the DRIVER he just drives trucks and does not care, But like i said if you would have contacted BOWZAM ower about this insted of tryin to contact the silly driver this would have been sorted regards Joanne

Allminewa and 26det, its good that you both have made contact, now please keep the aussie spirit going and come to an honerable agreement to settle payment. I thinkk that 26det may be right in that some drivers either forget or dont give a #### or he may have had a runin with the boss and left, or any other number of things. Allminewa I hope that this one incedent doesn't change your great aussie spirt.. be safe all. regards Dave

Bowzam Transport gave me my first drive in a semi trailer. I walked in off the street and spoke to Mick, one of the brothers in the company and he looked me up and down and took my name and number. Two days later I drove out of their yard on my first long haul trip to North Queensland with a set of cattle yards. They are some of the best people I have ever worked for, honest, easy-going, respectful. I was unaware that they were still operating. I am very surprised at hearing of the non-payment of a repair bill. I would think something has gotten mixed up. Hope it is all sorted by now.
