Possibly Moving to Au
Any suggestions on the best state to work/live in AU? As far as living areas we are looking for warm sunny days with little to no humidity and NO SNOW !!! As far as working , I have about 25 years experience driving truck, and pulling van trailers, refrigerated trailers, hopper bottoms, tankers, dump trailers and some flatbed.
My wife works in the medical field,in the office.
Right now we are tossing around the idea of making the move.
Any help is truly appreciated.

Brisbane Queensland - No snow and most of the year there is no high humidity but you will never avoid that totally in OZ. and almost always semi trailer jobs available. If the heat and cold are the main factors I would stay on the east coast of OZ but south of Mackay to keep away from the high humidity and north of Sydney to stay away of the really cold.. But in saying this there is not really any snow along the east coast except for the very very rare occassion, I think like one in 50 years, dont quote me though. (but thats pretty close).

ok see what i can do, i have a family of 4 and we spend about $400 /week on food, and other stuff like soap, toothpaste, etc. Rent for a four bedroom house is between $260 and $500 a week depending on where you want to live. (260 will get you in the outer suburbs within 45mins of the city) 350 or so up to 500 will get you closer to the water/ocean within 10mins and about 20min to city. I lived in the outer suburbs for about 6 years and always found work within a 30min drive from home. now i live near the ocean and find work within 15min drive from home. feel free to ask any question
