Curious about how you think a used Pete from the US would go over here.

Looking at bringing over a couple to see how it goes. Both are 2007 Peterbilt 387's. One has 580,000 miles on it and the other has 590,000.

    CAT C-15, 435 HP engine
    13 Speed Transmission
    About 180 cm sleeper
power steering, AC, engine brake, cruise control, power windows and locks
    Aluminum wheels
    Air-Ride Cab and Suspension
    Tilt/Telescopic Steering
    Air Slide 5th wheel
    Dual Gas Tanks 120/120

We are having these two converted over the next couple of weeks to suit AU standards, and then planning on shipping them over.

The problem is, I have not seen much at all for Petes since coming to Australia in 2009.

So, what are your thoughts? What would you expect to see them selling for, are they better or worse than what is here, etc?

    Thanks!

I know of a few people that own Petes here in Brisbane, they have no issue getting parts , price is normally cheap cause most people want to stick with the usual.
