Advice needed 4 getting in2 right truck industry

    Ready 4 f/t work with radical career change, I'm attending info day 19/7/12 followed by interview to get in2 MR lic course. It's govt funded, hence the lic restriction. Q. Does any1 know what sort of questions will be asked at interview, ie 'why do I wish to enter truck ind'? Q. What other requirements would be helpful to get step up into ind? My goal is to attain HR lic and become dump truck driver. I have 35yrs safe driving & want to stay in South Aust!

    Questions will depend on the course provider, could simply be stuff like , what is the quickest route from point a to point b, or stupid questions like when going down a steep grade what should u do, a) put into neutral, b) select low range, etc. in a nut shell u should have no problems as u have years of experience and u r only doing course for a very very small truck. I would not be concerned.
