THE Liberals will do whatever it can to ensure truck drivers get a fair deal when the new regulations come into place late next month, the Member for Bega Andrew Constance said.

“I believe the NSW Government will deliver unworkable regulations governing the trucking industry in our region, particularly around fatigue.
“This is principally due to a lack of truck stops, particularly along the Princes Highway. “There is also an issue with stock carriers and the challenges they have with stopping carrying cattle and sheep causing disruption to other stopped truck drivers,” Mr Constance said.
