hey i have a few questions

does averitt have a 800 number or recruiters?
(i ask because i've applied 3 times no budge)

    does all trucks have apu's?

i was applying for a regional position, are you able to take truck home for hometime?

i applied for regional position because i do not have a car to get back and forth from terminal, i plan on buying a car here within 2months, does anyone know if you can change from regional to local? they have both positions available here in houston.

thanks, those are all my questions.

You don't deal with rejection well do you? If they were interested they would have callled by now.

    Time to move on.

An Averitt recruiter came to my CDL school & asked us to call him before filling out the app online so he could walk us thru it. I figured that was primarily so he'd get credit for us if we were hired, but he said there were certain things about their system that might cause the computer/personnel to automatically kick the app into a file an applicant doesn't want it in -- basically amounted to the ol' File 13. Well, I'd already filled out an app with them a couple weeks before. I told the recruiter that, he checked on it later that day, & sure enough I'd been "kicked" b/c of a couple of things. One was that I'd been unemployed for 7 months. Anything over 6 they kick. Another thing was the date I was finishing CDL school --- Feb 1st. It was January at the time, & any date past the end of Jan the computer program wouldn't accept. All that said (sorry for the length), google them, get the recruiting number, & give them a call. They'll most likely be able to pull up your app & tell ya what's going on.

Got a link to that first page, because I work there and can't even find that number. That being said, when I hired on, I just called their main number.
